Mohan Amasa, Founder & CEO
Founded Stagirus in 2006 and has been running the company for three years. Hired and trained a world class engineering team with nearly zero attrition. He led the development of Stagirus’ flagship product from concept to the commercialization. With sound understanding of the market needs, he positioned the product for a niche industry need.
Prior to starting Stagirus, Mohan has worked for several technology companies over 16 years especially leading their product development and complex IT projects ranging from startups to Fortune 500 enterprises such as IBM and Lucent. A passionate visionary, Mohan is well respected for simplifying complex business and technology challenges with innovative solutions. Early in his career, Mohan helped turn around a struggling technology startup Wishbone Systems to a successful product company. Mohan’s strengths include building high-performance teams and delivering world-class technology with an emphasis on process efficiency, architecture, customer orientation, and quality within time and budget constraints.
Mohan has a bachelor degree in Computer Science from a premier college REC (NIT) W, India and Executive MBA with honors from Daniels College of Business, University of Denver. Some of his achievements include Gold Medal for academic performance, Best Outgoing Student of the Year, and several Sports Championships.
Jeff Altman
Jeff is principal consultant and founder of Asula, advising companies on business development and sales management. With over 15 years experience building sustainable revenue streams, he helps companies grow through strong sales management, integrated marketing programs, and improved operational efficiency. His experience as a global enterprise technology executive enables him to handle complex technology sales and marketing challenges.
Altman served as Vice President of Sales and Operations - US & Latin America for Control Microsystems, opening and staffing the company's US headquarters. He and his team exceeded $19M in sales while establishing processes for managing CMI's large and geographically diverse channel. As the VP of Global Sales at VC-backed Verano, Jeff was recruited to be a member the executive team tasked with a company turnaround. He and the team regained the confidence of skeptical customers which led to continued investor support. Jeff was then able to build a global team that grew the sales funnel by $2M in the first six months. Altman received an MBA from the University of Denver, a BS Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado Denver, and a BS Petroleum Engineering from Colorado School of Mines.
Kirk Hanes, President/CEO – Summit Performance Partners, Inc.
Kirk Hanes has over twenty years of experience in high tech corporate sales, operations and business development. As CEO of Federation Software he lead the expansion of operations and sales of a PLM product throughout the US and Europe, generating the most revenue in the company’s history. Previous to Federation Kirk was Senior Vice President of Business Development for the start-up Zenodata Corporation, a web-based digitized land record search solution which reduced search times from days to minutes. Kirk has also served as Senior Vice President for IHS Engineering, a $150M content delivery company that pioneered the electronic subscription and transactional based models used widely today. As Vice President of Sales at Munro Garrett International, Hanes led an effort that grew revenue 10X over a three year period resulting in a successful acquisition of the company. He has held executive level positions with worldwide responsibilities in multiple technology companies including two which he founded. Kirk holds both a BS in engineering and an MBA, and is a nationally recognized speaker on sales and sales process. He currently serves on the Board of Directors a number of private companies.
Paul Panepinto
Paul brings 20 years of enterprise software sales management experience to Green Plug , specializing in emerging growth companies. He helped organize a consortium of vendors to be early adopters of a high-tech industry Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) platform. He has the ability to bring harmony and accord to a vast group of parties with competing interests. Paul was recently CEO for security technology startup, Novatix. Prior to that, he has held positions as Director of Alliances for Verity, and VP Sales for Black Pearl Software and Lynx Real-time Systems. He holds a Computer Science degree from the University of California at Berkeley.
